Ask any Chinese acupuncturist or masseur where they go for dim sum and they will tell you Hoi Tin. Hoi Tin is small joint on the Zeedijk, right in the heart of Amsterdam's China Town. Step inside and rub shoulders with tourists and locals and lots of Chinese! The choice of dim sum (until 5 p.m.) is endless. The classics like har kauw (steamed prawn dumpling) and shao mai (pork and prawn dumpling) are great but we suggest you also be adventurous. The steamed Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce on the side is yum. Hoi Tin also serves a great Peking duck here and the tea is free of charge. When you make a reservation, ask for a table downstairs. Cash only.
