Dat is pas brutaal. Als 'ras-Rotterdammert' een van de fijnste plekken in Amsterdam bezoeken en dan de boel direct bestempelen als Rotterdams. Member Tinus 010 deed een rondje Amsterdam en viel van de ene in de andere verbazing.
Ze lunchte in Dauphine: ''Hier zijn ze eerlijk. Vandaar ook dat ze geen geld vragen voor de parkeergarage. Legendarisch in Amsterdam!"
Het diner in Restaurant As (foto) 'in de koele krochten van Amsterdam' was een verrassing: ''Als ras-Rotterdammert durf ik hier best gezien te worden. Sterker nog, ik vond het een beetje een Rotterdams concept in Amsterdam. En dat is dus een compliment."
Ondertussen in Utrecht…
Daar meet Inge zich een kleiner jasje aan dan Tinus 010. Inge woont dan ook niet in de culinaire hoofdstad van Nederland maar in Utrecht. Tja. "Soms overweeg ik te verhuizen naar Amsterdam, want het is zo jammer dat dit niet kan in Utrecht." Ze heeft het over Wilde Zwijnen. "Zo lekker basic. Het pand, de inrichting en het eten!"
Haar stadsgenoot Robutrecht vermaakt zich nog wel in Utrecht. Een uitgebrede bespreking valt Opium ten deel: "Ga hier niet heen als je romantisch wil tafelen. Ja misschien op een rustige dinsdagavond. Maar in het weekend altijd vrij druk en dus ook een beetje rumoerig. Wel een perfecte tent voor vrienden om eerst beneden in de stijlvolle cocktailbar wat te drinken en daarna lekker te tafelen..."
Hallo-o. Daar zijn we weer!
We houden het eens kort. Want dat is ook wel eens lekker. "Gezellige brasserie met top bediening en mooie gerechten." Meer woorden heeft primavera bijvoorbeeld niet nodig voor Brasserie DockS in Hilversum Wat heb je ook nog meer nodig?
Of Theo van der Ree over De Graaf in Breda: Ik kom hier al jaren en het is mijn favoriete restaurant van Breda en omstreken. Het is een aanrader om er een leuke avond door te brengen. De ambiance is gezellig en de keuken is meer dan uitstekend. Daarnaast is de prijs-kwaliteit verhouding zeer goed."
Maar nu we toch in Breda zijn. Wie steekt hier ook weer het hoofd om de deur? Tinus 010! Nog een stad te veroveren. Want bij La Cucina Italiana 'lachten de visjes haar al tegemoet vanuit de koelvitrine'. En nu, Rotterdammert? "Een goede reden bedenken om vaker in Breda te moeten zijn."
